Terms of use

Updated on September 24, 2026

These terms apply to the getexperto.com site, the web app and the Experto apps for Mac and Windows. By creating an account or using Experto, you agree to them. The Portuguese version prevails.

1. Who we are

Experto is a digital solution of lists, items, notes and messages for people and teams, developed by MTOOLS AGÊNCIA DIGITAL LTDA., CNPJ 03.711.905/0001-68, Rodovia SC 401, 4100, Km 4, Saco Grande, Florianópolis, SC, 88032-005. Customer support: contato@getexperto.com.

2. Sign-up and access

  • You sign in with your email and a code sent to it. Keep your email secure: anyone with access to it can get into your account.
  • An Experto account is a team's space. Whoever creates it is an administrator and can invite people, make others administrators and manage the plan.
  • You must be 18 or older and provide truthful information.

3. Plans, price and payment

  • Every account has free seats. To have more members, the account buys paid seats, charged monthly at the per-seat price shown on the site and on the Plan page.
  • Payment is made by card on the page of Asaas, our payment partner. Card data stays with Asaas and does not go through Experto.
  • The subscription renews every month on the same day. Adding seats applies right away and enters the next charge. Reducing or cancelling applies on the next due date, with no prorated refund.
  • If a charge is not paid, administrators are notified. Access may be paused from the 8th day overdue and, after 30 days, the subscription is closed and the account is suspended until it is settled.
  • When there are paying accounts, a price change is announced to administrators at least 30 days in advance.

4. Referrals

Each person has a referral link per account. When someone creates an account through the link, with a company email, and keeps using Experto for 7 days, the referrer's account earns a credit seat. Up to 10 referrals per account. The credit may be removed if the referred account is deleted or unused for 60 days, and in case of abuse.

5. Your content

  • Lists, items, notes, attachments and messages belong to whoever creates them. You authorize us to store and process them only to provide the service.
  • Personal lists and notes are private: only you and the people you choose can see them. Account administrators do not see people's private content.
  • You are responsible for what you put in Experto and for the public links you decide to create.
  • Attachments have a storage limit per seat, shown on the Plan page. If the limit drops, files stay; new ones just can't be added until they fit.

6. Integrations and AI

You can connect automations (a list's inbound address) and AI apps through the Experto connector (MCP). A connected AI app acts as you, only where your account allows, and what it reads is also processed by that app under its own terms. Administrators decide whether the account accepts AI connections.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not use Experto for anything illegal, to send spam, to infringe others' rights or to try to bypass limits, billing or the service's security.
  • We may suspend an account that violates these terms, notifying administrators whenever possible.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Experto always available, but it may have interruptions. The service evolves: features may change or be removed. Important changes to these terms are announced in the app or by email before they apply.

9. Termination

  • You can leave an account, delete your personal account or, as an administrator, request the deletion of the team account. An account with a subscription is deleted at the end of the paid cycle.
  • Deleted items, notes and lists can be recovered for 30 days and are then erased. Deleted accounts are erased with all their content.

10. Liability

Experto is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for content created by people. Nothing in these terms limits your consumer rights.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, including the Consumer Protection Code and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
