Experto MCP

Connect your AI agent to your lists and notes.

Experto has an MCP connector (Model Context Protocol), the open standard Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps use to talk to tools. With it, the AI sees and organizes your lists, items and notes, reads your messages, and acts as you, only where your account allows.

What the AI can do

  • See the accounts that allow it, and the lists, items and notes you can see
  • Read the messages you received and tell you what is still unread, across all your accounts
  • Answer “what's due today”, “what's overdue”, “what's left on list X”
  • Create lists and items (up to 50 at a time), with due date, start and estimate
  • Edit, complete, reopen and move items; create and edit notes
  • Attach files to items (images, PDF, Office documents and text), as you, within the account’s storage
  • Read the account context and, with permission, keep it up to date

What it never does

  • Delete anything
  • Send messages or notices
  • Share lists, create public links or webhooks
  • Administer the account or see the team's personal data

In Claude

  1. 1Open Settings › Connectors (on claude.ai or in the desktop app).
  2. 2Click Add custom connector, name it Experto and paste the address above.
  3. 3Click Connect: Experto opens its sign-in page. Sign in with your account and click Allow.
  4. 4Done. In a conversation, turn on the Experto connector and ask away.

In ChatGPT

  1. 1Open Settings › Connectors and turn on developer mode, if it isn't on yet.
  2. 2Click Create, name it Experto, paste the address above and pick OAuth as the authentication.
  3. 3Click Connect, sign in with your Experto account and click Allow.
  4. 4In a conversation, pick the Experto connector under Tools.

In other AI apps

Any app that speaks MCP over HTTP (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth 2.1 sign-in works: dynamic registration, PKCE and token refresh are all there. Paste the address and follow the sign-in.

The account is in charge

  • AI connections are off by default. An administrator turns them on under Administration › Account.
  • That's also where you decide whether the AI only reads or also edits, and whether everyone can connect or only administrators.
  • The account context is your own text, in Markdown, with what the AI needs to know: who you are, how you work, project and client names.
  • Each person sees and disconnects their own apps on the AI agents page, with a log of what the AI did in the last 7 days.
  • Limits per connection: 60 actions per minute, 500 changes per day, 50 items per request.

Items created by the AI show “created via Claude” (or the app's name) in their details.
